Does anyone know of companies that move horses out of south africa to other countries i.e England, Austrailia etc?
Also has anyone any idea of the costs involved?
Thanks in advance

B a friend of mine who used to stable at Waterloo wanted to take her horse with her to Australia. The cost of doing this was aprox R60 000!!! Also the travelling was too much, they go from CPT to DUBAI to AUSTRALIA and they have to be quarentined (sp) for 4 weeks either side. So 8 weeks total for travelling. She decided it was too expensive and too much stress, so she sold him to a girl at our stables.

Brian B Roux does the transport for the racehorses. There is a quarantine, usually done in Mauritius. It is a long exercise
