Hehe. I haven't been able to get Dave within a metre of Daze. He's 'motto', so to speak, is "I'll try anything once." So I'm holding him to that. He's under oath that one day, he'll get on Daze and at least walk in a circle with her.  |

Heehee, for guys who are scared of horses...oh I have a story to tell! Have you ever seen a 9hh pony make a 1.8m, big-built guy run away, swearing never to go near that f-ing pony again? I have!  Tes, shame hon, sorry about that. Um, I don't know when we'll get to go again. Charlie and Commie are on trial with their potential new owner at the moment. They are still at the same place, but we don't have the same amount of say in when they get ridden anymore. |

Katsi, I told you on your thread about your girl  I trained Fancy when they first got her. I know Gail well - Josh and Abi went to school with me (in lower grades). My parents are good friends with the Nels. |

I think the most spectacular fall I ever saw at CW was when Clifford fell off Griet. They cantered to a jump, he leant forward to go over, she lifted her forelegs...then put them back down again! Clifforc somersaulted over her head and landed about a metre away on the other side of the jump, on his back, reins still in hand. Luckily he was ok, but it was quite a show.

^ ^ Check. Done it. It was off your beloved Daisy, too ;P She did the same thing, but had a valid reason - her left shoulder was sore. I rolled over her neck & landed on my bum, reins in hand. Have photographic evidence, too. Somewhere... Maybe LLT can find the pic. Oh, & she can tell us about her almost-fall with Mickey. I miss those days |

Haha! Classic almost fall! The one where Mickey decided not to jump the second half of the double and ended up on his knees, me sitting right behind his poll, reins still in hand? *snicker* That was hilarious...
