When i was ten years old my sister and i somehow managed to convince my dad to get us a horse off the track and couln't have been more blessed to get a horse by the name of Trickador, problem is that since i've been looking for him i believe his registered racing name was actually Trigador which complicates things a little
i live in cape town now but was in Jhb at the time (1996). sadly we knew very little about horses and it was not a year before we had to sell him and i would really love to know if he is ok and what happened to him
if anyone knows anything please let me know! his sire was Eliodor
thanks so much. tracy

When you were in JHB did you stable him at honeyhills? His name really rings a bell.

I remember your boy. Will have a look in the diary I used to keep when I used to ride there when I get home tonight and see if I wrote anything about him. Do you remember the names of the people you sold him too. Cos as far as I remember he stayed on at honeyhills for as long as I was there, after you guys owned him. I started riding there from about mid '97.

Didn't this horse belong to Kate Andrews (Lang) of Kellow Park - or was stabled there? Or did you sell him to her? She used to call him Tricky. I leased a horse at KP in 1998.

I swear I remember you and your sister...
Yes his name was M&M - mistral miracle, he was in the 2nd brick stable and then was moved to the third, after one of the horses left.

Google Kellow park for Kate's number, should be either hers or her husbands number as contacts.

Kate has a website (www.kellowparkstables.co.za). Maybe you can contact her and ask her. If I have the correct horse, I think she jumped him to C-grade with points to go B's.

Kate sold him to Shirley Evans from Kellow Park.
Don't know if the Evans family still has him

That's right.. Shirley moved him home a few month after she bought him. Shirley worked at Midfeeds in Kyalami a few years ago - don't know if she is still there.
Julesm.. were you at Kellow Park then too?

I baited Wallah (the big dark bay TB at the far end of the barn) but also rode Bucheron now & then... who did you own/lease/ride? Sorry for hijacking the thread, Liquidfire

We bought James River (for my daughter), then Just Ginger while still at the old Kellow Park. We moved with them to the new premises for a couple of years until we moved on

Don't remember them but then again, I only leased Wallah for a few months while I was horseless & Musc was having his let down period.
