Hi there
A friend of mine is looking for stabling for her horse in Durbanville or anywhere close to Edgemead/Monte Vista area.
Please if you know of anything let me know so I can pass the details on to her.
Thanks so much!

Arwen stables with us and lives in Edgemead. We're about 15 minutes away from there. Shame she's currently in Calvinia!!! Sarah if your friend wants to know anything please shout. I think there is a stable (or two) open We have a lot of sand but our horses are happy and looked after. Rates are reasonable

Thanks guys.
She knows about Green Acres, so I'm sure she's looked there. Rigatona, where are you stabled?

I think the best is to first see exactly where in Edgemead, so that you can actually see how long it takes you to get to each yard, thinking of traffic and all of that.
A friend of mine has just moved and moved her horse to First Place and although the driving distance is the same as to her old yard, there are far less Robots so it only takes her 15 min BUT if she had stayed at her old yard, because of traffic etc it took her over 30 min.

Toddy I see what you mean and I agree with you there, but they are going to drive out to places they hear of and like, so they will see what it's like on the drive. ATM where she is, it's a 20min drive so she is looking for something less than that. BUT if the right place comes along and it's 20 mins drive then they will obviously think about it.
She doesn't want to go to First Place, because her lift is scared driving there because of where it's situated.

Country Ways is also an excellent place. I don't know if there are any stables open though. You'll have to ask KariWari.
