Hi guys
Sadly we have to sell 8 of our horses. This is the first time that we are selling horses, so their new homes must be perfect.
Charlie: R8000
-Boerperd
-12 yrs old
- about 15.3hh
- Not a weight carrier
-Gelding
-Dark bay
Charlie has been with us for 4 years, nut sadly he cannot carry to much weight anymore. Maximum 65kg. Very well schooled and perfect on trails. We use him for experienced rides as well as inexperienced rides.
Baghira: R6000
-Boerperd x Arab
-17yrs
- about 15hh
-Mare
-Dark bay
Baghira is the horse I always use as a lead horse. Perfect in every way. We never used her for beginners, because she can get strong. She will do anything for you.
Chinook: R5000
-Boerperd
-14yrs
- about 14.2hh
- old injury to leg
-Mare
-Palomino
Chinook is a brilliant pony. Extremely well schooled and great with kids. She has an old injury to her leg, but is fine now. We just don't use her for jumping and cantering in deep sand.
Calypso: R4000
-Boerperd x QH (Chinook x ONP Poco Huntas)

Calypso has not yet been backed due to having a foal, but she is halter trained and very easy to work with.

Only serious buyers contact me. Homes will be inspected. Please only people with horse knowledge. All prices are neg, we only want them to go to the best home. Most of the horses have been at Grootbos their whole life, so we are very sad to see them go. Would like them to go to a home where they will only have one owner that will give them lots of love and attention.
