Dear B & B'ers,
I am depressed to tell you that I now have 3 saddles to sell- so the asking prices will be VERY reasonable to move them!
1) Grand Gilbert Passier Dressage Saddle- 17" (dark dark brown, fitted) in lovely lovely condition, a little bit older, but suitable for a TB type dressage horse with high withers. At one time, these saddles sold for more than R24,000. The gullet is not adjustable, so it really is only suitable for a horse whose shape is not likely to change. It rides beautifully. I am VERY negotiable and will consider every offer. Pictures on request- no problem.
2) Trainers Jumping- GP Saddle. 17" A wonderful saddle, only ridden in for 1 year; been sitting not being used for about a year, also not an adjustable gullet. new this was priced at between R8- R9K. Every reasonable offer will be considered.
3) JC Quantum, GP. 17.5" Black. A super comfortable saddle, not too forward cut, so lovely as an "in-between" saddle for some dressage and some flatwork and some jumping. I used it for my Harry in all disicplines, including cross country. It has been ridden in for about 3 1/2 years. It is in excellent condition. The gullet can be adjusted on a machine at Tack Shack to be made wider or smaller (small adjustments). Again, new this saddle cost between R10-R11K. All reasonable offers considered.
It must be uncomplicated, though. I am a bit limited in terms of time for fetching and carrying saddles, and would prefer people to arrange their own fittings etc.
I can take photos of the other two saddles and email to people who are interested. But they are in very good nick. They are being sold simply because they do not fit our two horses. I am heart broken about the JC as it is such a lovely saddle, but I have been advised it is not suitable for my new girl, even with the adjustment.

It can still be adjusted, but it is such a nice saddle for the babies!
