Heya What are the rates for the classes and what form of registry is necessary? Sounds like a fab series and would love to know more and become involved!

Cat, 8 teams are formed from the top 24 riders at the end of a calendar year. Each team is then auctioned off to the highest bidder at a gala event. After the auction the team owner and team captain nominates 2 additional riders for each team. So each team consists of 5 riders. The only criteria for these nominated riders are that they had to have jumped a qualification round (clear round) in a 1.30m competition before the series starts. During the series the teams then have 2 riders that jump 1.30m and 2 riders that jump 1.40m at each leg. The event is run under Nation's Cup rules. The teams for 2011 are set, but they have plans for expansion and even greater competition next year, so watch this space. You can also go to www.proshowjumping.co.za for more info. Bluebird, thanks so much! I am very much looking forward to the show.

The 3 events are aggregated. The next leg is in September, also at The Burgh and then the final will be KEP in November. So, still a bit of a wait to the next leg.
