Does anyone know of a really good jumping instructor and I dont mean A grade stuff in fact the total opposite. I am a really nervous jumper and the instructors I have used just dont seem to be able to help me in the way I want to be helped. i.e far too ambitious and rushing and just putting the jumps higher and higher, making young horses canter into jumps etc... when my position sucks and the horse is not ready too. I want to start from scratch and do things properly, baby steps, dont care if it takes me a year to do 60cm, but want to do it properly. I see so many peeps flying around the jumping course with the most awful positions and quite frankly it looks messy and dangerous. I am thinking on the lines of George Morris...(if only!) but someone who is patient and knowledgeable and is not ONLY interested in how hight the horse can jump. Please pm me if you know of anyone. Thanks!

What about janice barett? I know she lives in Darling. She isnt a jumping instructor but she is very very good at flat work and she gives a lot of confidence!

Thanks Lizzy, but Janice is a dressage instructor. I have had lessons with her and she is very good with flat work as you said, but I dont think jumping is her thing..
