I will be hosting a pony camp this weekend (17-19 dec) if there are any enthusiastic kids out there keen to join me! It is on my 62ha farm on the berg river, between franschoek and paarl. own horses/ ponies are more than welcome (as long as there vaccinations are up to date) or you can use one of ours! You can choose between group or private riding lessons. There is a sleep over on the sat nite (hopefully in the stables if it isn't too hot) and cape town-based kids are more than welcome to stay with me on fri nite too. There are lots of farm-based activities on offer, from swimming to quad bikes and getting dirty is a prerequisite! good old-fashioned fun. there will be a bring and braai and a show on the sunday with some awesome prizes up for grabs (all kids are assured a rosette and a prize). all meals, riding, activities, memories included and a set of photos to take home too! cost is R1150/kid and this is open to negotiation and discounts for more than one kid so find a friend! kids age 5 to 'too cool for school' welcome. there is also a doctor on site in case of emergencies!
