I hope this can fit into the classifieds since it's probably considered a professional service but I'll post anyway because I think horse folks might love it.
My hubby, who's in the movie biz, has started taking horse pics (mainly of me and our horses because I pester him so much) and I think they're fab. Pics can include your horse at liberty, classic portrait shots, photos of you with your horse or anything else that springs to mind. Everything is included within the price.
He's told me he'll do a shoot for a set rate of R500, including a CD of as many pics as you want, without all sorts of copyright stuff attached (so you can do whatever you want with it, without asking his permission or having to photoshop his logo out of the frame). Group rates can be negotiated, but he hasn't thought that far ahead because this is just my 'silly wife' idea and he doesn't realise how many of us would love to have a set of photos of our favourite beasties to print out and frame, send to grannies, use as screensavers or post all over facebook!
The only restriction is that we're in Gauteng and he can't travel too far out of town without adding fuel to the bill (this can also be negotiated in advance). He'll also set rough limitations in terms of time - 5 hours of photography might be more than everyone can bear! However, he's been very patient with my many demands and, as he's a rider, has as much fun snapping away as you'll have posing.
