Bucked Off has stabling and live out options available. Grass paddocks and girl grooms. I thought about the Steadfast option then realised that i would still have to go and feed and water my horses on Christmas day.

Lovehorses Steadfast has several grooms you do not have to feed on Xmas day just make sure you have enough feed, they feed every day and put the horses in and out but I believe Bucked off is also very well run.

I stable at Bucked Off and my horse has never looked better or been happier! Guys what your horse needs and what u think it needs are 2 different things. I ran my own yard for a bit so i know what is supposed to be what and I have found a place that suits me and my pony, but mostly my pony - nothing is too much trouble. So, ja, no need to get on your "high horses" about who knows better. Do some research, read some books and shop around. You will be surprised at what goes on behind the scenes.

My point exactly, davinci, your horse does not notice the mod cons and having his behind wiped off after every ride, his needs and wants are so different from his human parents, at Bucked Off, your horse will be living as natural a life as poss with grazing which is what he was made to do and interaction with his own, same at Steafast, Gan Eden and a few other yards in the Durbanville area. It is us humans that do all the worrying, yet our 4 legged friends are so easily satisfied!

I have 2 say tho that i am grateful for the space -especially after a week like this - "self exercising horsies " That and i do sleep better at night knowing that he is warm and dry, in a clean stable and has good food ( and if I wanted his bum wiped i am sure it could be arranged!)

I stable on a lovely farm in Durbanville about 2 km from the Tack Shack. It has nice safe outrides, and enormous irrigated grass paddocks so the horses are all extremely happy, relaxed and rather round! They only take non thoroughbred types or ponies and charge under R2000. Its a private farm and the stables are lovely and big and it is really well organised. I see this post is 2009. What is the Stable's name or a contact number where you are the one 2km from the Tack Shack. Thanks

Florida Georgia Line is my favourite contry band. Headliners Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley are those guys that could make anyone sing along. That's why I like to visit their shows. And - that's surprisingly wonderful - in 2019 they have CAN'T SAY IT AIN'T COUNTRY TOUR which covers all the USA cities and towns. For more information visit Florida Georgia Line Concerts 2020.
