My mom has finally managed to re-build some of her kennels after having to close the kennels and cattery thanks to the government kicking her off the land she had a 15 year lease on.
She has 25 years + experience with running kennels and the kennels are really nice and spacious with a grass run which the dogs each get their turn to run in.
If you know anyone looking for kennels over Xmas, or any other time please pm me and I'll send you the details.
She is now in Suurbraak which is 20km's past Swellendam. Its a bit of a drive from Cape Town, but its worth it to have someone so experienced looking after your loved ones. Please guys, she is desperate to make a success of this as she hates having to live off my brother and me. Being 59 years old its extremely difficult to have to start over.

Ratty good luck to your mom, I wish her everything of the best in this. I am sure people going on holiday could drop their animals off along the way so she should advertise as widely as possible.
She is often in my thoughts, good on her for doing something to get up and going.......!

If only you were closer to us, we desperately need some DECENT, PROFESSIONAL kenneling over XMas and New Year.

Misty she has already got a booking from someone in Kenilworth and another one from Bredasdorp so its looking hopeful that she will get bookings from all over. Unfortunately she doesn't have the cash to advertise the way she would like.
Her first dog arrived last week and apparently its loving the kennels!
