On Saturday 4th April Stellentia Farm Equestrian in Gordon's Bay is hosting our first equine fair. What we are doing is a car-boot and trade stand event for anyone who wants to sell second hand or unwanted tack and horse equipment and for stockists associated with the horse trade. We will also have a horse sales wall if you want to bring photo's of any horses you have for sale. We want this to be a family day out and so are offering pony rides for children and we are currently in contact with a magician and a jumping castle supplier. (At the moment neither has confirmed.)
Each pitch is the size of a standard family car.
For the general public pitches are R100 if you pre book.
For trade stands we are doing a pitch for R75 for the whole day (9am till 6pm).
Any one who arrives on the day is charged R150.
We currently have bookings from Toyota, The Carthorse Association, Darren's Saddlery and Tack Repairs, Dianne Lewis (Confectioner) and Maxine Carr (artist)as well as many people selling second hand tack.
Stellentia Farm Equestrian is a private livery yard in Gordon's Bay. We offer full livery, grass livery, diy and retirement at competitive rates. Our resident instructor Jo Carr gives lessons to all ability's specialising in show jumping. The yard also runs exclusive out-rides for one or two people at a time. Our stables are all rubber matted providing a kinder and warmer surface for your horse/pony. The owners, having just arrived from England, keep the stables to British Horse Society standards and every member of staff is experienced in horsemanship.
