Well it's the Argus so I'm not going cos I'll be stuck at home till the roads open. And besides I don't mind missing it, it's one one the worst venues in my opinion.

sigh macluke... at the moment i feel the same, polish tripped in the make-shift warm up arena (usual parking lot) and now im sitting in a friggin cast on my arm and not able to ride for another 20 days or so!

Might be the worst venue but it is convenient for a horse that doesn't like boxing. I'd love to go to the Noordhoek shows and all the other beautiful venues but won't risk it.

Mac it isn't actually such a bad show venue, my girl jumps really well there! Polish your accident was unfortunate but you haven't really jumped at any other graded venues so it isn't fair to judge. The warm you were in isn't usually used for warm up but there was equitation on the same day, also its not to say he tripped because of the ground could also just have been a trip (horses do that sometimes)! Anyways OC I am jumping in the 80cm class on the baby aswel so will see you there

Well I said in my opinion, the main reason I don't like chpc is cos it's really far for me and they usally always run late . The ground's not too bad too.

I'll be joining you guys in the 0.80m classes! Have had two falls in 3 days (my fault, couldn't find a good stride, panicked, took my legs off and Hero stopped) so thought it would be wise to jump lower at next show.
