Mojo is a 3 year old gelding who needs a home. He was adopted by the amazing Carolyn shortly after being taken in by the Good Hope SPCA. She unfortunately can't take him to her farm as she doesn't have enough space and she already has almost 20 rescued horses! I have been fostering him for her for almost 2 months now and he is doing really well. Carolyn wants to keep him under her name so that if his new owners can't take care of him, she will take him back. There won't be an adoption fee as she has already paid that.
He can either stay in my yard with his new owners paying livery o he can be moved. He is blind in one eye and will soon have an operation to remove it. He is a very friendly horse that needs a kind gentle hand and lots of TLC. He will need an experienced horse person to take him on as he is young and doesn't know anything yet. He is very protective about his food, he kicks if you walk near or far from rear end, this is because he was starved. He should reach around 15hh and will be quite stocky once he has grown up a bit. He shouldn't need shoes either. His teeth have just been done by an equine dentist.
I haven't yet started working with him as he was in a bad way when he arrived and he is still young.
