Place for 1 horse at a beautiful smallholding just outside Durbanville.
Would suit a semi-retired or retired horse or someone looking for a very relaxed environment for their horse. There are only two stables on the property and one other horse at the moment.
The stables are large and airy, measuring 3.5mx3m. The owner takes every measure to ensure her horse is comfortable at night, so each stable has a nice layer of shavings which is changed regularly.
The paddocks are large and have ample shade. When grass is thin, haynets are put out ad lib. The owner always tries to get a few bales of lucerne for her boy with her hay bales.
There is a secure tack room, just underneath the house that the owner stays in.
There is a 20m lunge arena on the property. It was purposely built for her 17hh horse, to avoid excess strain. There are also large 20x40m arenas close to the property, a short walk away down safe roads. There are outrides in the area and the owner has exclusive access to the vineyards close to the property. There are numerous other yards around as well if you want company on your ride.
There is a live-in groom, who adores the horses and looks after them well. He has a room right next to the stables. There is a cottage just below the stables as well, so there is always someone on the property at night.
If you need someone to exercise your horse or look after them when you go away, I will be more then happy to do so.
The owner is asking R2000pm, which will include food, shavings, grooming, ect.
