Hey all, it was my first time at CHPC and I will definately be coming back!!! The grounds are awesome, lovely big warm-up arena and the classes ran pretty smoothly. Kudos to the organisers!

2 poles in the Welcome stakes, placed in Derby. There were only 2 clears in the Derby out of 30 horses! Shame, my girl knocked 2nd last jump! But I was so so so pleased with her round, things are starting to come together now How did everyone else do?

Well done TP! Sorry somehow i did not see you and your lovely girl there- you were probably right in front of my nose- just busy with Sara and Skwiff! They had a lovely part 1 to the JPN equitation, and jumped the 8 jumps of the course very nicely indeed- got nice scores- BUT- when they walked the course, never asked how many elements there were- the judges had to tell them there were 9!!!!!!!!!!!!! so Sara took Skwiff over the 9th before leaving the arena but by then was eliminated- shame! they might have placed- good lesson, not to be repeated!
But on the UP side, they had an amazing go in the JF Welcome which was converted to one round due to running late- so based on clear and time. Sara and Skwiff got their first graded jumping rosette placing third- i was so proud i was bursting! Sara had not entered the derby preferring to take baby steps- they really have come on- thanks to great experiences like Inge Hansen's clinics and also learning to take things a bit more slowly, and more flat work focus and lots of help from friends too!
Wish we could have come to watch the higher grades yesterday!
