Does anyone know where I could buy proper dressage Cavaletti's? Or anyone have any for sale? Or any fabulous suggestions on what to use as an alternative?

Bee they are relativly easy to make. The actual pole that is rested on the cavaletti should be 3.m long. The cross bars are about 50cm long. Bolt the two cross bars together in the centre and rest the pole ontop. You can chose to paint them white if needed. What i did was bought a few poles 5m in length and used the exess for the cross bars and then the left over was a 3.m pole.

I have about 5 cavaletties I could sell you can turn them to a desired hight I think I've never used them they do need a bit of work as they are about 2years old and have never been used so if you are in cape town you welcome to have a look and make an offer for them.
