Hi
I've been out of action for a couple of years and want to start riding again. Could someone give me a list of ridingschools that I could visit. I stay in Waverley Pretoria so the closest is Kameeldrift etc and Montana, if there is any still left.

The one on the Moloto road...um...forgot the name, but ladies name is Lientjie?
Charlwes?
Shamrock?

Try Zambezi stables or Charlwes. Would NOT recommend the one on Moloto road.

I won't recommend either of the others either. Its a big problem to find a riding school/livery yard in that vicinity where the owners/managers don't have a shocking rep, or that are not geared solely to SANESA, or have decent school horses/ponies, etc.
There was a lovely yard that was sold and the owners moved away now. I don't know if anyone is taking over the property.

Sure! I stabled there; Serengeti equestrian centre, in the estate. Dwars Rd, opposite bosveld voere.

Sure:
Carry straight on towards Cullinan, pass the new Zambezi centre on your left. Then pass the Derdepark centre on your right.
The first tarred road coming in from the left, take that one (just before Baviaanspoort prison). Carry on for about 5km: you'll see a vet's practice and Bosveld voere on your left, and Dwars Rd on your right. Turn right into dwars rd. About 200m down the road you'll see the entrance to the estate on your left - big thatched gates.

Does anyone know anything about country ways EC also in the Kameeldrift east area? Apparently a newish yard, I've sent an email but no response as yet.

Zambezi equestrian centere . Stable ridge . Theres a new one about 3 km from zambezi equestrian centre and there is one near provance.. all close to zambezi mall. I also live in waverley. And I also give lessons

Does anyone know of any stable yard in pretoria that has people that needs someone to work their horses for them during the week. I'm highly qualified and has trained with some of the top trainers. Namely Neriske Prinsloo, Dominey and Gonda..
