Kels, couldn't the organisers offer the walk/trot test for 4 year olds too (perhaps at future shows) ? Seems there are a few riders who would like to avoid the canter stage of the basic tests who have 4 year olds.

Sorry guys, I've been asked to help out at a Pony Club clinic on that day. Will be taking Litchi with for an 'outing'. But now that the competition is gone for the best giraffe class, I'm sure you guys will have much better luck!

Kels please ask them to add the *trot around arena 3 times, get tired, head for nearest tree, take feet out stirrups, drop reins, pat clever pony, give carrot, allow to graze, slouch on saddle, light ciggie, ponder your naval, stare blankly into space and wonder why you never get any better* class

Lol, Hayls!!! I just thought it would be more fun to show the kiddies at pony club how a horse should NOT behave when going out! It's a good learning experience for them

Thanks so much Kels! I did get your email, but now my email is being silly so reply doesn't want to send.
Am looking forward to it, my first show in years!!! And Duke's first show ever. I know we are very underprepared for it, but just going to take it easy and have fun and hope that he doesn't try to search out the only blade of grass in the dressage arena and promptly stop in the middle of the test for a snack LOL
What classes are you doing Kels/ Lisa?
