I urgently need to transport 4 horses from Alberton to Bloemfontein within the next month (or less)
One of the horses is a Stallion and the other 3 are mares - what courier can i use who will be willing to transport a stallion? It is compulsory to get them down within the next few weeks because the one mare is pregnant and due end of July (dont ask me why on earth she's due in the middle of winter) and she needs to be transported before she foals down.
And 3 more horses (2 mares and 1 filly) from Vanderbijlpark to Bloemfontein (not so urgent)
Any contact details will be appreciated! please!

I will only use Peter Choice.
My horse has gone from JHB to Natal; Natal to Stellenbosch and Stellenbosch to JHB. Best experience I've had was by far Peter Choice. And he has the fanciest truck by far!
Contact him on 083 300 4488

PS. We had a mare with one month to go with her pregnancy, and the vet said there is no way we can move her to another stable, and that was in the same, very small town.
Have you found out if it's okay?

Thats sort of what I was thinking Mish... would have thought it risky to transport a mare at such an advanced stage of pregnancy. Not to mention the trauma of moving homes..? But again thats just my opinion, I am certainly not in the breeding industry so have no idea.

Yes i know it's not advisable to transport a mare due so soon, but if you dont have any other choice, if the mare HAS to move very urgently because of other matters involved then that really is the only option. but i'm sorted with the transport thanx Merry !! She will be transported by someone i know personally and an experianced owner, breeder and trainer so my mind will be more at ease than when she's being transported by a courier whom i dont know. thanx again for the contact info Merry and Mish!
