Lisa, I'll check with Dee and see if she has anything in stock that your mum could take on appro for a bit. It looks like Rod's is sold.

I already called Dee's.... nothing! Tried WS and Laird and tacK shack and hack and track etc etc
Getting a couple of new saddle's fitted on Monday, at least then i can confirm the actual shape and width that AW needs, but i am pretty sure it is Wide. and it looks like I am not going to get away with a 17.5 inch either, not even the forward cut saddles are big enough for my silly long legs! Curses! Thanks anyway, Sax.

Lisa. Mine is a MW fit with a hell of a lot of stuffing in it, so can be altered a bit. I also have very long legs but fit very nicely in this 17.5". It has long saddle flaps and rather big knee rolls. There are pics under the post SADDLE STILL FOR SALE *PRICE REDUCED* My boy is quite big 17.2hh and built like a brick s*** house, but for some reason this saddle was too wide for him. PM me if you would like more details, hope this helps you a bit.

Thanks mally, but I need a WIDE 18 inch. I have sat in a good couple of foward cut 17.5inch saddles and they are just not big enough to accomodate my daddy long legs. And although AW is only 17hh he is a large shouldered, well muscled stallion, his current dressage saddle is 13.5cm across the front of the gullet, so the MW is just not going to cut it. *Sigh*

I am having the same problem Lisa. Cant find a saddle to fit Argyle. Its driving me nuts! Even resorted to trying a 16inch but my short legs where too long for the saddle, which sods law actually fitted Argyle. Back to square one. They dont seem to be many second hand saddles on the market in the Cape.
