Due to the fact that my little colts head is now a tab to big for his showing halter I am looking for a bigger one - preferably a cob size. I have looked everywhere for one and can only get Pony or Horse size. I am going to be doing in-hand showing with him so need a nice smart leather one.

It may be easier to have one made up to your specs. You don't think cob would be too big for him? Musc is in a cob bridle.

D I would get one made up but I only have 2 weeks - a pony is way to small now ( don't know if you saw the Kieffer one I had) - a foal is way to small too....bangs head - feels like last show...

Bevel, I have an utterly beautiful black English leather showing halter with brass fittings which you may BORROW if it fits, but I am not selling it as it is gorgeous. It comes with a black lead rope with brass chain.
It is only a halter though, it is not a stallion halter. Do you want to have a look?

Anine he is only just on a year now - I would rather not go the bridle route - but will if it becomes a crisis!!

That's fine, Bevel. Do you stil have my phone number? I'll be around and about this weekend but maybe it's easier if I leave it at Dee's for you to collect at your leisure? Hope it fits. It really is gorgeous. I bought it for Harry and he's just about outgrown it now, and it's never going to fit my other two boys  But somehow I just can't get rid of it |

What class are you showing in, Bevel? Lynda has asked Roderick to show Quartz in hand and to help her show two of the yearlings at HOY. Of course, knowing Lynda, she's forgotten to enter so he may be able to wiggle out of it |

yip - Still got your number - what will be easier for you - if you are gonna be at Dee's I can collect it from there or I can come through to your place - either way is fine.
I know how you feel - I love his first showing halter and am super peeved that it won't fit - but won't part with that one either! MAybe one day I will find a use for it again!

I have to go to the shop to pick up my saddle racks, so I may as well just drop it off. My tackroom is in the process of being re-tiled and painted, so it's a sodding great mess, I'll go and look for the halter now. If it's a bit dusty, please forgive me!

Doing the WB and General Breed In-Hand class - you could check the THS website to see if she has entered - maybe you will be lucky!! My classes are on the Tuesday and Friday..still need to wangle my leave
