GENERAL: In order to keep everyone safe we have decided to implement the following:

CROSS COUNTRY:TIME SLOT BOOKING ESSENTIAL (FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY!)
The cross country will be monitored by experienced event riders.
They will be taking groups out 45 minutes in groups of 6-8 riders
If you do not have your instructor with you, it will be necessary to book a time slot. If you have your own instructor with you, it will not be necessary to book a slot for the country, but I must know who you are riding with

NO-ONE WILL BE ALLOWED TO RIDE IN THE COUNTRY WITHOUT
EITHER AN INSTRUCTOR OR ONE OF OUR ASSISTANTS!

SHOW JUMPING: NO BOOKING REQUIRED
There will be show jumps at different levels at different times:
50cm 9am - 10am
60cm 10am - 11am
70cm 11am - 12 noon
80cm 12 noon - 1pm
90cm 1pm - 2pm
1m 2pm - 3pm

WATER COMPLEX: TIME SLOT BOOKING ESSENTIAL
Riders need to book time to go through water complex (which will be 10 minutes per slot - 4 riders per time slot)

MEDICAL: There will be a medic on duty for the day

CLOTHING: Formal show clothing is not necessary, but Hard Hats, Heeled boots and Jods are compulsory. We strongly recommend that competitors wear BODY PROTECTORS & SURCINGLES
PLEASE REMEMBER THAT HARD HATS MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES WHEN RIDING ON THE SDRC GROUNDS.

Dam I'm doing a clinic that day but I did the one end of last year and I got thru the water which was the big thing.

wright stuff, we are planning on holding a lot more open days this year, as they are always a huge success and enjoyed by all. Hopefully we will do more jumpcross as well

I might bring Sovs to do some of the showjumping (only small jumps!). Will see how things work out.

I'm hopefully taking Litchi. Lol, going to see if I can get some poles on the ground for us, otherwise we have fun cantering up the banks and going through the dyke. It's great experience for him

Drat i only read now that you need a body protector, and i sadly dont have one. How necessary is it?

They strongly recommend that you use a body protector, but it's not compulsory. So you can ride without one, though it would be safer (for you) if you did use one.

karie small jumps are not allowed. we start at a mimimum of 80cm! are you trucking with us?

And BTW, if you had seen what Sovs has been like the last two weeks, you would also think 80cm is big!
