Well i had an interesting show... it like went well but it didnt go well :/ On friday i went with my two 4 yo's. jumped On-say in JE. She had a double clear and came 2nd!!! So proud, 2nd class she just had 1 pole. Rix - who's 3rd show it was did 70nd 80cm. He had a double clear in the 70 and finished 15th out of about 80 horses then just had 1 pole in the 80cm. Oz jumped JC. 1st class was built so so small yet almost nobody went clear. I had 1 pole. 2nd class i think there were 2 clears (jess was 1 of them) and i had another stupid pole. 2day i had the most stunning clear in the accumelator and came 3rd, champs we had a stunning clear, then the 1st pole in the jump off but 8 time faults =O the time was really tight, i just a quick round for my horse! so we finished 4th - still pretty good. Jumps were big. On-say also jumped JE, 1st class she was sticky and had a pole nd refusal, very unlike me. Champs class - cough cough. We went clear. She really had a nice clear but i could feel she was getting sick of it. Then in the jump off had 1 pole and the final combi she wanted to go to the gate... so had 2 stops and 28 time faults haha so finished with 44... yet still came 13th out of 50 so wasnt that bad... haha naaaaat. All in all i think we had a good show, have had beter but im happy with my horses

Lizzy well done you are just phenominal - as always Jem im sorry to hear that but itll pay off in the end Me and Wally did the in-hand classes as I still cant ride (jaw surgery). We did Best walk, show hack and hunter and best gelding/colt/stally over 1.5m. We got 3rd in best walk and i am just too proud for words. i just went for the experience and i really didnt expect to be placed (esp not in best walk). As we boxed him to go back he gave a bit of a hassle. He walked in perfectly but just as they closed the ramp he rushed back and the ramp was bended. So we had to box in another box and he was as good as gold. It had me a bit stressed out though. All and all im beaming with happiness - graded shows here we coooome.

Wow today was a bit of a bummer for us.Linden was a bit sensitive on his right hind leg and it was rather swollen. But got the vet to check him out and she said he was fine to jump.So i jumped my first class and he was dead,he had absolutely no bounce in him and did what i asked him to do but he didnt enjoy it like he normally does. He shouldve been out of his skin today because he had plenty vitamins last night, but he wasnt.
So ya his leg swelled up even more,i scratched the second class because I didnt want to pressure him if he wasnt feeling up to it.I'm scared he may be brewing one of the viruses thats been floating around the area.I really hope he was just tired though...
Journey, how did sarah's classes go today?

Christine your boy is stunning! Just wanted to give him a hug he's so sweet!
We took Shiney through for his first EVER show! Did the in hand show hack and gelding/stallion 1.5 and over. He was so well behaved! Had colts and foals going bananas infront and behind him, jumping in the next arena, speakers making funny hight pitched noises and he didn't even flinch at any of those! He just kept walking like lamb following mom around the arena! Was so proud of the little man!
Jess, he was in the stable next to Linden, they had a good gossip about the goings on at the show and stood with their heads next to each other...skinner bekke!!! Hehe! Linden is looking AWESOME!!!!

What a great bunch of reports! Christine I saw Wally- you have transformed him into the most gorgeous hunk!!!! Lizzy well done! I saw you ride-you are awesome girl!
Well Skwiff was a real star for Sara - we got him there no probs today- then he just hung out- very chilled- we thought he was tired or flat, but he just seems to have a laid back show temperament! Sara has never ridden an accumulator before! He just flew over and has so much air time over fences! Dropped one pole near the end but jumped the joker! She had the third or fourth fastest time without even looking fast- but with the pole, did not place- no worries-
Then we were worried cause he was so quiet- snoozing etc. thought he was flat for the championship- Sara has the warm up just right now- when he went in, he was ALL business- in fact, too much- he was a bit fast, and the footing was slippery- so they again had one pole, and then he slipped badly on a turn, and Sara managed to keep him together and make a circle (technical refusal) and he jumped the remainder beautifully! We are so so so so so proud of both of them-
He did not want to load to go home, so Sara just did our "Malan-training" and we did not give up, and he finally realised there were no choices- it actually only took about 10 minutes- so i think we are finally on the road- what a great experience! lots of learning and lots of fun!
