IC, the cost is R500 per day for horse & rider combination (6-8 pairs a day)
I would love to do the 2 day clinic with Suzanne Marshall.
Zsus, what level of schooling must the horse have for this clinic? I'm still doing the basics with Litchi and a group outing might just fizz him up. Does the clinic cater for this or is it for more experienced horses?

Hi all - sorry - the UK is an hour behind you guys, so I get into the office a bit later than you do !
Suzanne teaches absolutely all levels, so there really is no minimum level of competence required (other than obviously being able to sit on a horse safely !).
Suzanne keeps the numbers down so that she can give plenty of individual attention and she won't work with more than 2 pairs at a time, to give both horses and riders the time and space needed to concentrate on the work.
There are some details of what to expect during the day on Suzanne's page on our website (www.intelligenthorsemanship.co.za), but Suzanne will do the on-horse stuff in the morning and she will be taking video footage for you to assess and discuss afterwards. There will be a break for lunch and then the afternoon session is more like a workshop. You will do some off-horse exercises, review the morning's video footage and have a Q&A session to discuss any improvements / problem areas etc.
It is great fun and you will be really amazed at the difference you can make even after only one session.
For those of you who are interested, but don't have a horse or don't feel you can join in for whatever reason, we will be offering spectator tickets as well and I would really encourage as many of you as possible to attend because you really do pick up a lot !

The Kelly Marks demo was brilliant. It is quite amazing how well she works with the horses and how quickly she gains their trust through join-up. It was definately worthwhile watching and it gave me a lot of training ideas.
And well done to Chants and Shrek! After about 10min working with Kelly, Shrek loaded into the truck like a pro!

WOW to achieve all she achieved in such a short space of time with those horses - amazing!!! What a lovely person Kelly is too, so nice to chat to her.
And her new book - PERFECT CONFIDENCE - well I glanced through it last night and I would recomment it even for non riders - it is a life-skills book to boost anyones confidence (Kari you should get it, it is brilliant!) I just loooove all the quotes and the pictures - omw I wish they were posters.....mmmmmmmmmm now there's an idea

Hi guys, Thanks for all your positive comments - we had a blast organising the tour - so glad you all enjoyed it As there was such a demand for Dually's and long-lines, we are going to order in some more, so if anyone would like to place an advanced order, just send me a PM.
