Does anyone know of live out retirement farms in Cape Town, where the horses will be well cared for and supervised 24/7
Must have grazing 24/7 and no sand.

You can also Pm lizzy on this site. She has an amazing farm in agter paarl where the horses are spoilt rotten. Its a very relaxed atmosphere and they have a few retired horses there. They have big grass paddocks. lukenburg.weebly.com/

Noddy, if the stabling you're looking for is for a retiree, I can definitely recommend either of the places I commented on. They are affoardable and the owners really go the extra mile for the horses. Just depends on what you're looking for.
The one Jemma and luvlaratreun advertised is ideal for a retiree. Owner's horse is also semi-retired and he needs a companion. Not live-out or herd environment, but the horses are really spoilt there.
The other option provides live-out, with shelter at night, excellent grazing in winter and supplementary teff and oat hay in summer (year-round, but extra if grazing is poor).
Both are on the Westerdale road, so if you would like to see either, pop me an email and we can arrange a viewing :-) tina9cherry@gmail.com
Otherwise you could try Gan Eden on Vissershok Road, but it's mostly DIY. Phone Gail 0824951053 Camelot, Claire: 0725218029 Country Ways, Genie: 0219769634 or Alba Guest Farm. Alba is a more expensive price bracket, as are Country Ways and Camelot. They are also more competitive, but I'm sure they could accomodate you. I can truly vouch for Country Ways. HEAVEN for horses. There's also Konnona on the Westerdale Road, Anna: 0761571922 as well as Boschendal. Boschendal is relaxed, managed by Tollie. Phone Alta for his number: 0845197703 I don't know the new owners of Konnona, but stabling is affordable.
That's Durbanville covered as far as I know :-) Far Hills doens't offer livery anymore as far as I know.
Good luck!

Forgot to add, Westerdale Road side does not have sand. Harder soil, so dust is not a hectic problem :-)
