I have a dressage whip you can have. It has come undone at the top but just needs pulling up and taping (if that makes sense?)

Now that is something i have been looking for as using lunging reins for long reining dosnt work. The reins are just too short... If i find some il let you know

doesnt Merwitz maybe have? I'm sure they make harnesses. Otherwise hunt down a Saddlehorse trainer, they will know where to get them from

Do you know where I can find a pair of driving reins by any chance? Different driving disciplines use different lengths and types of reins (ie saddle horses have loop type handles in them so not suitable). We have a pair we bought at the Kelly Marks clinics, they are from Monty Roberts and a bit pricey but well worth it - correct length, soft for the user and kind on the horse. Perhaps ask Szussanna (sp?)

Rhythem if you want to use lunge lines for long reining you need to make an small adjustment. Siply cut off the clips and add about 1 or 2m of thin rope and attach the clips to the end of the rope. That means that they release quickly and your "aides" are more clear. But I suppose it does depend on how you attach the lines when you long line.
