Just a question, Does South Africa offer cremation of horses? Where, and what are the charges? Otherwise, what are the laws around burying horses?

The drakenstein animal clinic could probably tell you what can/needs to be done.

You can get your horse cremated at great expense (about R10k) but I am not too sure about burial, it would depend on where you are.

RIPets offers cremation in CT. Afaik there are no registered pet burial grounds in SA esp for animals of that size.
RIPets offer Return of Ashes, cremation without Return of Ashes (if you dont want them back, they scatter them for you), disposal and Tombstones (for display in your own garden).

RIPPets charges about R10k to cremate a small horse. And I think you have to get the carcass to them
