This will be the 1st of a series of clinics to be held by Dinja in the Helderberg basin. Dinja arrived in South Africa in 1997 with 20 years of competition experience in the Netherlands, initially in show jumping & later focusing on dressage. Her training is based on teaching the pupils to ride with “a feel”. Dinja has been an instructor since 1980, has competed in Prix St. George level & her training level is Grand Prix. She achieved her Horse Management at the Univ. of Den Bosch. In S.A., Dinja has trained a number of our top dressage riders, many of who are still currently in the top rankings.
During this clinic, emphasis will placed on warm up routine & cooling down, flatwork for show jumpers & dressage for eventers. Importance will be placed on correct training for any sport horse & the benefits thereof. All levels welcome. Riders are to be correctly dressed in proper training gear & hard hats. Horses are to be up to date with necessary vaccines.
Spectator’s welcome – free entry! Please bring own chairs, refreshments & necessary goodies to keep you comfortable.
Orion Equestrian Centre has kindly offered overnight stabling available at R100 p/night + cost of straw bedding. You are welcome to bring your own bedding, if this is your preference.
