I know of a fantastic char who is looking for work every day from 1st April in the Bellville, Durbanville, N Suburbs area. She has worked on the farm for the same family for many years, raised their children, cooks like a dream, cleans amazingly and is the nicest, most honest, decent woman anyone could hope to have working in their home. Unfortunately, she is unable to live in anymore and so her employer has had to terminate her services and she is no looking for daily chars.
Please pm me if you would like more information. She speaks Afrikaans but also understands English well and is a coloured lady.

LOL @ Anine, you kidding right! Sorry, a char is a domestic worker that comes in daily to clean and doesnt live in as a housekeeper/nanny would.

Aah, never too old to learn hey! Sorry we lived many years in Jhb as well as other parts of RSA and I have always just referred to a daily cleaning lady as a char but anyway, if you in Cape Town and want a great char, please let me know.
