Serenity as in the old Tatooine?? Durbanville side? My boy used to be there and then the place was sold and placed under new management/ownership so I moved him. He was very happy there though.

Yes as in that one Zamzoo, I think it is the same place.

I cant comment on the new place as it has new staff, management, etc - Ive just heard that they intend to have WAY more horses than previously so Im not sure how and if thats going to work. I sent my horse to Bucked Off (which I prefer to be honest - but its just my opinion).

But bucked off is way more expensive so I am looking at it in a budget pov

DiDi - you get what you pay for and i would be very wary of "cheap stabling" - feeding and caring for a horse properly is not cheap! soory but it is true :-)

As far as I know serenity is pretty pricey, you sort of pay for what you want you horse to eat so you can choose to only feed him a little. I would check though that there is sufficient grazing to support this kind of livery.

There are huge grass paddocks at Serenity or what was the old Tattooine and the care was tops, not sure about the new management but have heard it is great. Why dont you go next door to Steadfast, its lovely there and the care is also great and very affordable. Good luck

I cant say anything about the new management BUT i can say i am SUPER happy with bucked off and think it is worth EVERY penny!!!

And it is a slightly longer drive to Serenity - could ad up in fuel costs too I guess... I love bucked off! I also run a livery as you know and it isn't cheap to do things properly and then still make something out of it to make it worth while... I would send my horse to bucked off if I had to put him in livery just because I know he would be so well cared for there.

Is bucked off that one on the gravel road that runs alongside the traintrack in the Vlakte?

No it is on the road to klipheuwel behind Braams voerkrale. Admittedly near the railway but on the otherside from Fisantekraal

Maybe... I get really confused as to which yard is which, so was just asking. I keep Daze at home and don't compete, so I never get out to the yards to learn where they all are.
