Posting on behalf of a friend.
Competitive rider is looking for a reputable dressage instructor in the Pta / Centurion / Kyalami areas. Rider is willing to travel further if necessary. Wanting to move on to E-M dressage.
PM me or post here if you know of someone that fits the bill.
Opinions on dressage instructors, good and bad, will be much appreciated.
Thanks Lila

I highly recommend Siobhan Records, Lila. She is fantastic for any level, from novice to PSG. You can sms if you want her number. She travels, but I'm not sure how many openings she has.
Judy Vertue also has a stellar reputation, and is a lovely lady.
If your friend can travel to Kyalami, Barbie Gertenbach at Riba Stables (where Kassim works) is an Advanced judge and rider, and a very good instructor.

PS: only reason i mention these 3 is that they are all advertised in the Grapevine, no other reason.

All of the above are great, I pm'd you.
I reckon when riding at EM level you need to try out a few instructors first then decide who you think will benefit you most. Don't be shy to ask for a "try out" lesson. Any instructor who is serious about their craft and understand the workings and partnership of a rider and their instructor will be happy to oblige and work from there. Don't be bullied into signing a month's worth of pvt lessons upfront.
There is also Natalie Hogg at Pheaton Park, she has worked miracles with a friend and her difficult horse on the flat.
