Is this something worth going to? I'd have to drive +- 1hour to get there so need to know if its going to be worth the time and effort?

Ive been once, It was in a small area but lots of tack for sale, you can pick up a good deal or two, not sure if its worth it or not.

I went 2 years ago and didn't think it was worth it, there were only a handful of items that would be considered good value for money.

I wouldn't specially put myself out to go - the odd good buy last year but not as good as a few years back - if you have nothing else to do and are in the area I would go... and now just watch this year they have an amazing amount of stunning bargains just because I said that! Overall I would agree with Bee.

Its got more and more expensive and competitive over the years, a few years back one could really pick up a bargain but the last few years esp last year were not worth the long trip we made thru.

i go every year and always pick up good bargains. Last year i got a kieffer dressage girth for R40, a sue pverton light weight for R100, and a couple of odds and bobs for really good prices. its always a good laugh and apparently this year will be good.

Wow, it was great this year. SO much stuff. I spent R400 and got a brand new show jacket, an indoor thermomaster rug in new condition, a bridle, loads of browbands, bandages, rein connectors, spurs, and loads more.... super amped.
Super amped i went, and its definatly worth it.

Perhaps I'll go next year. I know someone who got a saddle that fitted her horse perfectly (he's got "simple" conformation), 2 years ago, for R400.

I was really disappointed this year, there were no saddles and I found nothing that I liked in my price range, what I did like had reserves on the items but glad that others got wat they needed.
