Jumping clinic *amended timetable*

We're looking into organising a showjumping clinic with Melinda Roos (AKA millies) in Durbanville 28 - 29 November.

Melinda is one of SA showjumpings rising stars.
She has produced three horses up to Open level in 3 years & trains with one of South Africa’s most respected instructors. She is currently ranked in the top 20 riders in SA



Here are some of Melinda’s most recent achievements:
• Winner of the 2009 1.40m Outdoor Grand Prix Champion
• Placed second in the 2009 1.40m SA Championship
• Winner of the Avis Mini Derby 2009
• Victor Ludorum for the 1.40m at the Avis Derby 2009
• Winner of the 2009 First For Women open showjumpers Series



We will run 10 sessions over 2 days with a maximum of 4 people per lesson to ensure that you get individual attention.
You will be placed in a group that are training at similar level to you and your horse, and we will cater to all grades from pole-on-the-ground-beginner to those competing in higher grades.
Lessons will be R270 each including ground levy etc

Lisa- i think Sara would be keen- Glenellen is the week after (lower grade festival and she is planning on moving up to D-grade- so timing is good) and also Junior Champs also in Dec- so put us down for a session! (she will probably have gaps between exams, so timing should be somewhat flexible)

The going is quiet good, level & soft but not deep. there is a chance that we might need to change venues if we have too much interest, but I will keep you all in the loop.

If Litchi wasn't still recovering from his injuries, I would have loved to come for the beginners classes. But he won't be fit again in time for the clinic...

Would love to go if Millies comes again next year, so hoping this first trial run is a huge success!

I want to come watch too! Maybe, just possibly, if a certain something has happened by then, I'll be keen to have a class - but chances are slim! Maybe tina9cherry wants to participate, although I don't know if she'll have the money to. Will check with her!
