I've been hunting for a suitable instructor in Durban and doing my homework as to which one is suitable for my horse and i but i'm not having much luck. Please, if you know of anyone, give me a shout

I have regular lessons with Heather Cochrane, and have had 1 or 2 with Bev Pendock. So my flat work is taken care of. I'm looking more along the lines of jumping/eventing. I have been watching people who have lessons with : Grant Langley, Marting Minett, Graham Swanson, Karen Sutton. Still not 100% sure though.

Kate Launder relocated to Jhb over a year ago and now works for THS as their dressage secretary.
For jumping, the two best instructors for serious riders are Tracy Cahn and Sue Pieters - if you can get on their roster you will be smiling and they have the experience and track record to coach right up to Open. Otherwise, Michelle Green or Grant langley also fantastic. For eventing you cannot do better than Karen Minett - incredibly positive, correct teaching that prepares you amazingly well for cross country and also gives a lot of confidence and teaches good forward 'flair' type riding across country.

I have had a few lessons with both Martin and Graham. I really enjoy both of them. They explain concepts very clearly and have the horse's best interests at heart in their teaching. They also both ride with a very good technique - both are 'quiet' riders.
