Blind puppy needs a home

Just received this via email - Look at that beautiful face!

This little puppy is only 4 weeks old, came from a huge litter that was dumped with us last Saturday. The people who adopted her realized she is blind, checked out by a vet, and cannot keep her. If she doesn’t find a home she will have to PTS. If there is anybody with other dogs with a big property who could adopt her, give her the good life she deserves. Or if there is any sanctuary anywhere that would take her on. We were told that she is an Alsatian. She is very sweet natured and playful. It breaks my heart.

A blind dog with lots of other dogs on a big property seems really cruel, Bee. If anyone takes this dog I think it should be somebody who doesn't work, has a small enough property that the puppy can find her boundaries easily and has no other pets who could frighten her.

Failing that, I think euthenasia is kinder.

I agree with you completely Saxon, just passing on the info, you never know where the ideal home could be for an unwanted dog.

Oh no! This is so sad. If I didnt have other dogs I would have taken here but as you said I think its a bit unfair towards her.

they want to humanely uthanise her I will def take her for a while though?

From the photo, looks like a GSD puppy.

Bah, if i did not already own three GSD's i would take her. Female GSD's have a special place with me but i really cannot have another dog.

Please have her PTS if she does not find the correct home, it is the only fair thing to do.
