Next Sunday, 18th January, we will be holding a practice show at Noordhoek Equestrian Centre, in the form of an obstathon.
Starting time: 10 am

An obstathon is a combination of cones and hazards. We start the course by driving through a few cones, whereafter we leave the arena and drive a hazard. We then drive a few more cones and then another hazard, etc. until the course has been completed. This is often a great way of getting a novice pony going, as they get a bit of a break between hazards because they have to shift their focus between the cones and the hazards. To those who are not comfortable driving the whole course, you are welcome to do only what you are comfortable driving. The course will be open to everyone afterwards, so you can practice anything, again.
