I am assuming Agri Expo is in March and the venue is TBA (To Be Announced)
I'll tell you why i think that.
on the WHPS website, there are no shows mentioned over 4 days, multi-disciplined. In February that is. But in March, there is a multi-disciplined show over four days (thur 5- sun 8) and the venue says TBA. I was looking on the graded calendar now... and on the practice calendar, it has nothing. But Agri is both Graded and Practice.
What does this all mean, do you think? That Agri isnt Practice?
and i hope this is agri cuz then its later and everyone has more time to get ready =D

It is the agri expo. What's wrong with Sandringham Macluke? Ditto? I thought Sandringham was specifically to be the 'home' of Agri? ?

Have also heard people compliaining about the ground there, Kels. Have never ridden there personally though, so can't really say how much truth there is to that.

The ground is awefull. I heard they were upgrading it at some stage. Hopefully before Agri as i would like to do it this year, but i agree with Mac i wont do it if its at Sandrigham. The theft was terrible too, i think last i heard a friend of mine had her saddle and two bridles stolen (out of a locked and alarmed car) and a few other people had the same problem.

All the arenas have been re-done, thats why they could not have an Eventing show in 2008

As long as its not too far I'm happy! last year I didn't see anything wrong with Sandringham's grounds but I don't always notice details like that.

Glad to hear the arena's have been redone Toddy. It is an AWESOME venure just the ground was boardering on dangerous last i was there. If they could step security up a bit it would be awesome. I know people should be more carefull with their tack but along with show nerves the last thing you need os for your tack to be stolen.

they stole tack at CHPC too hey... so that gives them no reason to NOT have it at sandringham. stealing is everywhere these days and the best you can do is pray it doesnt happen to you and keep your tack on you at all times!

I do agree with jess, am so grateful it is in March.. Gives me enough time to get my forms in and my horse used to jumping higher again, catch up on some lessons and do some shows beforehand!
I remember the stealing being a problem, luckily we had a groom watching over our horses and our tack last year, probably won't be so lucky this year!

but also, with the stealing, i was thinking about it. they only go to sandringham for the agri show because they know it is going to be a huge show. if the thiefs hear it is at another venue, whats stopping them from going to the new venue? they will go because they know its a big show and lotsa people.

Well I've always had bad shows there, they run late but really late got home after 9pm one year. It's also really hot there with no shade! Also it's really far for me so not really worth going for me. And the stealing is bad too.
Which arena's did they redo tho?
