I have got quite alot and I know of a contact if you are in the western cape you are welcome to come and get a bale to try I think it sells at R25/bale my horses somehow love it...

We paid R120 for a big round bale and yes our horses also loves it. The price delivery included.

I'd be really keen to find out more about this.... Could you please pm details of the suppier you use of course only if they don't mind. I would love to try one of my horses on this as he should not be eating oathay as per vet instruction and need to find something else to feed him.

I actually want barley straw for my dam as it is used to keep green algae from growing in ponds and dams. I don't really want to import from the Cape, is there nowhere in Gauteng we can get this?
