For anyone interested in the Thorowgood saddles (and others from the UK) there is a possibility that Lynda Records from Riders Original will come to Cape Town if there are enough people who are interested in the thorowgood saddles or in having their current saddles checked by an experienced fitter.
We are hoping to get enough people who are seriously interested together for her to see over a 2 day period and for convience, have one day in Southern Suburbs and one in Northen Suburbs.
She imports a range of UK makes of saddles that many we don't find in Cape Town such as the jaguar, barnsby, black country, land rover, thorowgood, fairfax , harry dabbs.
Lynda has a wealth of experience and if anyone would like more information emailed to them about more detailed creditentials, you are welcome to PM me, but in a nutshell she is a Level 6 Sanef instructor, lecturer and examiner and also lectures in bitting. She is also a qualified UK saddle fitter then in addition trained in re flocking and re balancing of saddles - have been in the retail industry over 20 years, as well as competed.
Anyone interested in having her see you and your horse, please send me a PM also stating if you are in Northern or Southern Suburbs area, so she can start to get an idea of the numbers of people interested. Hopefully then we can finalise dates etc.
