IC that calf is going to die if it is not taken soon. Unfortunatly no one there is very clued up about farm animals and he is only being fed bran. He is about 4 months old and that is what he is being fed. All i do is shake my head. He has not been de wormed and his belly is so big its almost on the ground. It is disgusting. His piles arent that bad and they are good for compost. He really is uber sweet.

laura i hate to say it but all of the people i have spoken to say it would be best for the male cow to be pts. A male cow is not an easy animal to have as a pet, and one that is sterilised or not sterilised but without breeding info is not goign to be wanted by most people. My friends mom has tried to keep bulls in the past, but as they grow up they dont realise their own strength and they become destructive - without meaning to. the one bull they had started lifting up cars with his horns and bouncing them. Cows also need space, and a bull in particular needs a lot of space. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
