Hi all Does anyone know when the entries close, for ie: the 12 April show? Or does one just enter on the day? On the description given on WPHS website, no mention is made of this, or if there is a ground levy. Anyone know anything about it? Anyone been? Nice shows?

You enter on the day.
I've been and found their courses VERY technical for a practice show and also not very welcoming, the last show...IN THE HOWLING WIND!!!!!...they had these HUGE flag things up as wings for a jump, they made a terrible noise!

Mally I think Its very well run and attended,The purpose of the series was to start off with less scary jumps and each time,They add scary fillers etc to get the horse ready for the graded shows...

Candy, I can promise you, you will never find a flag.tarpaulin thing INSIDE a graded showjumping arena. They are supposed to be placed either by the entrance or outside the arena. Those things were swinging around in the wind, as Morgs and I stood next to it, this friggin thing swung around in a gust of wind and hit him in the side. Also, when we went to scratch - i saw no reason to scare the living daylights out of my horse, because of flags, when they will never be in a graded arena - the response we got was down right rude! I was told "Well the training 60cm and 70cm kids on their ponies didn't have a problem with them, I don't see why your horse would." HELLO!!! I DON'T HAVE A FRIGGIN BOMBPROOF RIDING SCHOOL PONY!!!! He was fine with the flags untill it hit him and made a noise. So, ja.

Oh and as for "well run". We entered the 2nd leg of the series, our classes were supposed to start at 12:00, they decide to run the classes COMPLETELY ass about face and we eventually got to jump at our entered class at 14:00 and finished at 16:00.
